The young golfer can count on plenty of prominent backers when she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates multiple courses worldwide and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions recently and has position 461 in AJGA standings.
Yet she's able to receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.
"And he's a superior person. He advised me to compete, relax, following the flow."
Kai will face some of top competitors in women's golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that her participation helps introduce the sport to different demographics, especially with youth audiences.
The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness label.
